This identifies all listings on the map search and stores listing data, availability and pricing. Once all listing information is gathered, secondary processes remove spam listings, assign auxiliary labels and categorization, and predict occupancy and income.

Doorbll uses a combination of HTML and API web scraping to obtain data. While human verification checks are done from time to time, it is otherwise assumed all property listings provided by Airbnb are accurate and genuine.
Machine learning methods are used to fill in gaps regarding occupancy and neighburhood locations.
Due to dynamic pricing, the price per night varies depending on how long the guest is staying, the day of the week and time of year, and for some listings a minimum number of nights' stay is required.
In order to maintain consistency between listings, we take price per night for two time periods each week. These are the weekday prices (Monday to Thursday) and weekend prices (Friday to Sunday). Prices are recorded for 2, 3, 4 5 and 6 guests for following 35 weeks. If the listing is not available during these time windows, no price is recorded.
Doorbll collects a snapshot of listing availability every 1 to 3 months. A fingerprint of last minute occupancy is regularly generated, by monitoring last minute bookings across 20,000 listings. This data is used to build a machine learning model, from which a more up-to-date availability schedule can be predicted.
Automated sense checks convert the availability calendars into occupancy data. This excludes obvious cases where the property is delisted (i.e. not for hire) rather than booked out. Occupancy estimates are then combined with pricing data to provide an income estimate.
Use the Request page to request raw data for a particular location, or data for a particular area of interest (eg: reviews). This will be emailed to you upon completion. While quick requests are typically provided for free, there may be a charge for large datasets or high workload analytics requests.
